Each of our member states and territories is responsible for test administration, scoring, and reporting student test results for the summative and interim assessments. Smarter Balanced staff does not have access to student information or test scores. Our members also manage access to the Digital Library and any training on use of the assessment system components.

If you’re experiencing technical problems with a Smarter Balanced system including the summative assessments, interim assessments, and the Digital Library, please contact your state education agency or Digital Library coordinator. These systems are managed individually by member states/territories, not by Smarter Balanced directly.
